Some of our group are going to Hanover, Il in JoDaviess county, Oct
the 9th on next Saturday. Its a 3000+ strip carved off the top of a
ridge in some of the highest country in Illinois. (Only place the ice
age didn't get to.) Its the only private strip listed for Hanover.
Very senic to fly from. Lots of trees and they should be colorful by
next weekend. The strip is 5miles out of Hanover on BlackJack Road.
(Theres a 90 degree curve, but you can go straight, and the strip is
300feet straight on the left.)
If anyones in the area, come on over.

The airfield is right at the + mark, though it dosen't show up on the internet map it is on an Illinois Aeronautical Chart.
