SW Regional EAA fly-in

Coming up May 12-14, in Hondo, Texas, about 20 miles west of San Antonio, on US90, lots of ultralights, PPC's, and conventional A/C, vendors, food, etc.......hosted by our local Chapter 35, EAA.......should be tons of people/planes as usual........this is a big event.

This year's dates are June 1-3 for the SW Regional EAA fly-in in Hondo. I'm going to check things out, my first visit. It's only 60mi by hwy.
I live in Leakey, northwest of Hondo, and help manage the county airport here,49R. Hillcountry, Frio River, beautiful scenery!
Some of the powerchute pilots who are attending the Hondo fly-in are coming to 49R and do some flying also. PPCs are welcome. Large grass infield perfect for pwrchutes. www.fltplan.com has a good aerial photo.
