I'm headed that way Saturday morning. I hope to be there by noon. I'll be easy to spot because I will probably be the only one flying a single seat Paraski.

Ok, I guess I met ya as you were taking the back fin off the machine to load it up again. I just had forgot that it was you posted about the trailer. (I have the green HHF.) Guess I didn't do a very good job getting out and about to meet everyone.
Was nice machine....till I looked at the engine....but someone said that you had a new model Hearth on your machine. I've only seen trouble with the older ones. Will be waiting to hear how the new model does.

Yep, that was me. I didn't realize that was you either.
I have the 3202, which is the 55 HP engine. This is my second Hirth, and I didn't have any problems with my first one either.
Both of mine have been fuel injected, so there is a computer controlling things. Maybe that's why I have had good luck. This new one just crossed 10 hours so I shouldn't have had any problems. I have also followed the maintenance schedule to the 'T'.
Virtually every problem I have heard of with a Hirth has been on a 2706, which is there old 65HP engine. That is the engine the other HHF had on it. I don't know if they tried to sqeeze too much out of that model or what. Most of the ones built the last 4 or 5 years have been pretty darn good.
I have talked with a number of newer Hirth owners who are satisfied, and a lot of old Hirth owners who aren't. So far, I am in the satisfied camp and I hope I stay there!
