An Update From Frederick...and DON'T forget the conference call event

Greetings PPC pilots and enthusiast,

It is time to let me know if you are interested in the Utah PPC event &
PPC Championships in October

(Note, I am not asking for a guarantee that you will be here, but just
to let me know that you are considering coming out to Utah in October,
so that I can negotiate insurance rates, port-a-potties, field sizes etc
for the event this year.

Of course, if you did wish to register NOW for the event – that
would be great too. And please note that I will not be charging credit
cards or cashing pilot registration checks until October 1st. So you
would still have time to cancel if something would prevent you from
getting here.

And to help with questions and concerns, I want to let you know that
next Monday evening, 6pm pacific time, the event organizers will be
hosting a phone conference, webcast session that will not only inform
you about the new event stuff this year, but also give ya a chance to
win some prizes too!

We really want to make the Utah PPC fly-in (Championships & Chute
Festival scheduled for Oct 17th-Oct24th) a premier (PPC FLAGSHIP) event
that will `kick-start' the PPC industry out of the perceived
`slump'. So please, won't you join us! Support us! Or at
least `wish us well' ?

(Yes, I know that BEAUTIFUL southwest Utah is a far, far away land for
some, but if we can prove that the event will receive support this year,
then perhaps in future years, some one and some place more centralized
for everyone will take the challenge to host the event in future years.)

Perhaps you have seen the ½ Page notice of our event in recent issues
of UltraFlight magazine. Volunteer, Vendor & Sponsor inquiries are
WELCOMED & ENCOURAGED for this awesome powered parachute event!

And now to help with providing information (and promoting our current
Vendors & Sponsors) the Event organizers will be hosting a "preview
call" for the powered parachute championships next Monday evening at
6:00 P.M. PST. You can listen to the call via telephone, or via
webcast.

The conference will include interviews with me (Fredrick Scheffel) and
others who will provide background on PPC competitions in general and
this one specifically. And during the conference we will be giving away
a few prizes to listeners.

This conference technology is easy to use and a lot of fun. Take a

Hi Mike,
I realize that this my not have anything to do with ppc's but it would be nice to have some some sort of memorial flight or dedication for the miners that lost their lives in that whole ordeal in the mines in That state. Just an Idea......
