Hey lets get a list together of who all is going to the extravaganza! We could all bring our FRS radios (if you have them) and pick a channel for the forum members to meet up.
I wish they would have a booth or something so we could meet up somehow! There are lots of you I'd like to meet!
I can't wait for it!

I'll be there, but I'll have to tell you. I'm not looking forward to the 11 hour drive there and back.
I recommend FRS channel 6 sub code 2, because that is what I normally use to communicate.
Anyone using the RINO 120 series GPS/FRS combo radio? These are neat to track each other in the air. As soon as you transmit a location is also sent to other users and you can quickly spot where the person who is talking is located.

Alas, I can't make it (do they let Six Chuters in there anyways?), too much work.
I have the RINO myself, I've been leaving it with just elevation and ground speed in the 'big number' mode. Keith, have you used the 'locate' feature much? I'm just curious as to how readable the screen is in this mode, mine's mounted near my pod and kinda hard to see. Sheez, can't even blame it on age ... yet.

Hey Keith,
Ill put my radio on 6 sub 4 also and keep a listen out for you...
Where are you driving from and what are you using to trailer it with? My buddy that had an enclosed trailer I was going to use sold it...So now im going to borrow a flatbed trailer. Hope it doesnt rain on me!
Ill be looking out for you guys! Im going to tent camp while im there. Ive also got a hotel room at the Super 8 im using as a backup for showers and such.
That Rino would be really neat to have! Ive just the regular FRS and seperate Garmin GPS.
I've been working on a list of things to bring...Im REALLY excited about this! I've also been working on engine out landings to win that cash!

I'll be there. Contemplating whether or not to take my rig. I won't be flying it, and it would probably just be more touble. On the other hand, I took it last year and also to another fly-in awhile back and got some good ideas from both. If anyone wants to look for me, I'll be drivin a red 90's body style Ford F-150 with Kansas custom plates reading ULPILOT. An alternate vehicle would be a brown Chevy Astro van, but more than likely I'll be in the truck. I'm leaving wed. night after work and am stopping at a couple lakes known for big cats to do some fishin. I'll be there friday or saturday, depending on how the fishing goes and I am not sure how long I will stay.
How do you guys put your pictures up by your name? I'll have to do that too. I'm using the schools computer now, but when I get home. Look forward to seeing lots of you.

Hey Cody! Glad your going to make it there! Your one of the ones on here (and yahoo) I've been wanting to meet for a while!
I probably won't be of much help on design ideas, but I can sure take you flying! I'm excited about all the flying were going to do and the seminars!
See you there!!

If anybody is coming through the St. Louis area, and has an enclosed trailer with extra room, I'll be happy to share any expenses.
I don't want to take the risk of bad weather towing my PPC on an open trailer. If I can't do this, I'm not sure I'll be going.
Even if there is no room in the car/truck doing the hauling, I will drive separate. I just want my PPC protected!

I sure hope you are able to make it with your machine, Bruce. I have been looking forward to admiring your Freedom 103 and visiting with you about it. Unfortunately, I am coming from the opposite direction (about 2000 mi). Bill

Are you guys going to be in RVs??
I have a hotel in Pittsburg, but am going to tent camp mostly.
The compitions start first thing Thursday a.m., how long do they go into the day? We will be arriving in KS the night before. Just wondering how early I have to get up to get in on that!

I'm staying @ the Holliday Inn and will be arriving about 4-5pm Wed.
I'm not sure about camping, though I will bring a tent in case I'm not in shape to drink all of Dan's beer and drive.

Hey Keith!
I'm staying at the Super 8 there in Pittsburg on Wednesday night. My girlfriend and I are going to tent camp though the rest of the time...but we are keeping the hotel room to go back to for showers and a place to stay if the weather turns bad. SPEAKING of weather... have you seen the weather for Columbus this week? WOW!! May even be a tad bit on the chilly side some nights!!! :D :D :D
