OK thanks. I have some life-long friends that live at lake Graham that I try to visit several times a year. That may be a good weekend to kill two birds with one stone. DB

Folks,

I'm just back from the Gulliver's Fly in which was held in Fulton, NY.

There were 9 PPC'ers in attendance as well as PPG'ers , Trike and Fixed winged flyers.
All had a great time which even the lousy weather couldn't stop.
Best of all -- not one bad flying incident to report even when there were 18 aircraft up at the same time in a fly-by.
A well run event for sure !

I really hope they don't have helicopters there. Gyro's I don't mind but you won't see me flying anywhere near a helicopter, Ha, Seth

If I wouldn't fly near helicopters I'd have to stay grounded. There is a helicopter dealer and flight school on the airport I fly from. Of course I give him a wide birth and they anounce where they are and what they are up to all the time. There are also heavy turbo props and jets as well. I have to stay alert and keep my radio on, but it all works out. We have also worked out non conflicting traffic patterns for ULs and PPCs on the airport.

I was at the ASC Nationals on Saturday, and like Seth said it was a blast!
I completed the Repairman Course on Wednesday and Thursday, and came back to meet some really nice folks. I didn't take my Pegasus because I'm still a student pilot, but took alot of video and pictures. I was pumped, so I flew for 3 hours this morning with my CFI observing. I hope to be back next year for the Attack on Olney.;)

Cheers,

I was at the Olney, Texas gathering for a few hours on Saturday. I did'nt realize at the time it was a national event until I got home and thumbed through the ASC magazine. Not to be critical, but I thought the turnout was kinda puny. Especially considering it was a 'natianal' event. I've seen better attendance at club fly-ins. I will say that the venue was A-okay and I met some very fine people. I did enjoy the afternoon. I would take my toy down there if I happened to be doing something else in conjunction with the event, but I don't think it would be worth driving 650 miles for all by itself. DB
