Just wanted to pass on a quick trip report from our Valentines Day Fly-in at Libby Montana. There were 15 PPC's in attendence ranging from Six Chuters, Prochutes, and a couple Destiny's. Even got to see the new Fusion fly. That thing is fast! We had pilots all the way from Eastern MT and Canada. On Friday you couldn't have asked for better weather. Saturday was overcast but the snow stayed away and everyone flew all day! Libby is a beautiful place to fly. This event was pretty much free flying all weekend with no accidents, although one line did get caught up in a prop. I have to say that flying with skis' is a little different experience. The most noticable difference is when you shut down you have to start pulling your chute down with the power up still because the skis wont' slide nearly as far as you roll when your on wheels so if you try to shut down normally you'll end up with your chute on top of you everytime. All in all it was a great weekend and we hope to get an even bigger turn out next year. Attached are some pictures. Don't let the snow discourage you from flying. When wearing the proper gear it's some of the most enjoyable flying I have ever done. Kudos to Ron Denowh for a great event.

Here's a shot of me. Notice the homemade skis (thanks dad) and when's the last time you saw a PPC sitting next to a snowmobile....:D

Great pics boomer, wish I could have made it, but work again foiled that. I hope to make it next year, and get a little ski action in.

Nice skis by the way, what are they made of? Looked like metal fabrication there in the pic. Now if you can get your dad to fabricate a refuling boom.........

Tom them skis are made out aluminum. They work exactly the same as the factory ones cept dad had $24 in them instead of about $300 or so. They worked good at Libby.
