A friend of mine had landed at a farm and had let off his passenger. He told him to meet him back at the field, since he didn't think he had enough room to make it back up with him on board.
As he was taking off the chute bobbed from side to side and caught the roof of a shed....and swung him into a silo.
His leg wasn't broken, but he was hobbling around for a bit...(while his machine/chute was being repaired).
So the lesson is...if you HAVE to try to take off with MAYBE enough room. Check your wallet for your insurance card and for enough cash for repairs.
