Josh-
It looks like I'll be in a different camper this year so I can't bug you with my loud generator!! My in-laws are driving us down in their new motorhome! 40' of luxury....leather and corian...but only sleeps 4!! We will number six this year and it will be interesting. Green motorhome with Montana plates.......another story!
Look me up so I can show you my new 912 Pegasus!!

Hey Kevin!
Sleeps only 4 but you have 6 people? WOW that will be interesting!!
I'm hoping nobody else fires their generator early in the morning too!! :p
Is your wife getting better about flying? Steph is really starting to like it all of a sudden!!
Looking forward to seeing you there!!!

I think I'll make it for a day at least, since I'm kinda close. If I bring my plane & spend the night, I'll probably just sleep in the trailer. Last year I drove down after I got off work in the early afternoon, but it poured rain all the way there & nobody was flying when I got there. I didn't bring the plane, but I got to look around at some of the displays & vendor's stuff. Sat in on a siminar & headed home. Hope the weather is better this time.

Josh-
Just another update. I might have a built in excuse to bring my camper after all!!! I am in process of selling my first machine along with my new enclosed trailer so I would have a NEED to have my rig there as well as the new motorhome of my in-laws! This Friday will tell the tale...as I should be getting some money then! .......keep tuned!
Isn't the thought of camping next to our camper again exciting?? Actually....I have a new generator out in the garage that needs to get installed and it is an Onan Micro Quiet! I hope this makes a huge difference as the old Generac bugged even me!! :o
See you all soon!

Hey, guys,
If the weather turns out too wet to stay in a tent, where is the best place to stay around there? I know some of last year's group stayed at a Holiday Inn in Pittsburg, KS. Is that about the closest place to the Extravaganza? I'd like to go ahead and make reservations for me and my girlfriend.
Thanks,

PPFlyer...
Last year we tent camped but had a hotel also as a backup at the Comfort Inn there in Pittsburg. It was a pretty nice hotel and the drive is only about 15-20 minutes. There was a hotel close by last year that offered showers for 10.00 as well. My girlfriend and I are tent camping this year again...but this time we arent using a backup hotel. We just decided it was not going to rain this year!! :p ...Actually I have a new tent that I think will keep us dry and I am bringing my backpacking tent that WILL keep us dry if the first one fails.
Did anyone that went last year remember if a water truck came around? That is going to be our concern this year. I've never camped where water was not an issue. I thought I rembered seeing that water was available somehow.
When is everybody getting there? Stephanie has a test (she is in nursing school) Thursday morning so we will get there late Thursday afternoon.
I've already started packing up!!

Hey Josh!
I'll probably be heading up there Wednesday. I'll leave here around noonish which will put me in Columbus around sunset. I've gotta figure out how to hang some banners... :-)

That's one tick that ain't gonna come off, Josh. Better be sure to scratch off all the fleas before you let this one set. :-)
The writing is done. I'll pick up the manuscript on Monday. (don't you love this code speak?)

Just tell me that everything is under control and to not worry about any of the details... Im a nervous wreck!!!
Does anyone know the water situation? If not, I will call Dawn on Monday to see.. I thought last year they brought a water truck around once a day.

Josh-
I emailed Dawn when you first asked about the water issue but she is so busy getting things ready I'm guessing that she is ignoring her email.
You are most concerned about water to cook and drink? We might be willing to share with you guys from our tanks on our camper. I think we should have enough on board for the four days plus a little extra......maybe.
You and Walt have been entertaining here.....got my mind wondering anyhow! :)
See you soon-

Josh,
Mission Control has everything ready for liftoff. Just make sure that you hide that package WELL so that the quarry doesn't catch on prematurely.
I've got a 30 ft. Class A RV that we can use for scheduling of "P" time. Oh... you and Stephanie can also use it to take a quick shower if you'd like. :-)
I'll be there late Wednesday night. See ya when you get here. We'll have the preparations ready by the time that you get there.
Walt...
LOL - Trust me, Doc. EVERYONE will be in on this plan. You'll love it. :-)

Josh,
It's done now. I've got the merchandise in hand. I had to fly across the state to get the right materials for this late date but it's in my grimy, sweaty hands right now.
I've talked with my conspirators. We'll all arrive there on Wednesday night and have all day on Thursday to work out the kinks before your arrival. By the time that you get there on Thursday night, all we'll have to do is set a time. I'm shooting for Saturday afternoon - when there'll be more people around. :-)
The stars are in alignment and we're ready for blastoff.
